Kitchen Counter Hack - make cleanup easier

For most people cleaning up their kitchen counter is a breeze. However for me and likely other disabled people it can be a real chore! As I struggled to keep my counter somewhat decent I figured out a solution.

I have a stash of reusable bed pads (affiliate link) from when I was having bladder problems. So I decided to try one on my counter. It’s so nice! Not only does it keep wet spills from spreading across the entire counter, it collects dry stuff like coffee grounds and can get away with not cleaning it up right away. Just when it’s dirty enough pick it up carefully and shake it over the sink and then it goes in the wash. They do make bigger ones, which I used before keeping my Ninja Foodi (affiliate link) on my counter. Now these reusable bed pads (affiliate link) work the best for me.
